The art history teachers in my school are taking their students on a field trip to the Cincinnati Art Museum, so I submitted a WebTop request to have the following YouTube video unblocked. In the video, the Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Cincinnati Art Museum introduces Mark Rothko's 1963 painting "Brown, Orange, Blue on Maroon," which was acquired by the museum in the 1980s. The curator also discusses Mark Rothko's role and importance in Modern Art. The art history teachers can use this video to help students prepare for their museum visit and to help students learn about Rothko and the Abstract Expressionist Movement.
